The Enlarging Fair project is at its 2nd year of activity. Until May 2010, 8 NGOs will cooperate to promote Fair Trade in an Enlarged European dimension. The NGOs actually involved are from Czech Republich, Slovenia, Malta, Slovakia and Hungary. The vision of the project is to emprove the capacities of those NGOs through exchange of experience with an "old" country, where Fair Trade is more than of age: Italy. Coordinated by a grassroot NGOs , with the contribution of the main Fair Trade import organization and the Italian General Assembly on Fair Trade, the network established with this project aims at training its volunteers and activists on 3 main topics: Campaigning, Education, Rules and Criteria.
This blog is meant to become the virtual square where the involved NGOs can share documents and opinions but also a meeting point for other NGOs interested in taking similar actions and people that want to be involved in Fair Trade.
